Lunar Science Workshop 2021 is a two-day workshop organized by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The workshop started on September 6, 2021. It was organized to commemorate the completion of two years of operation of Chandrayaan-2 in lunar orbit. The workshop was broadcast live on ISRO’s website and Facebook page to effectively reach out to students, educators and institutions.

ISRO President K. According to Sivan, Chandrayaan-2 has carried 8 payloads. It is observing the moon at an altitude of 100 km above the lunar surface. At this time K. Sivan also released data products and science documents in addition to data from the Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter payload. Academic data and scientific data are being made available to institutions for their analysis.
Chandrayaan-2 mission
This is the second lunar mission launched by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) after Chandrayaan-1. These include the indigenously developed lunar orbiter, Vikram Lander and Pragyan Chandra Rover. The mission was launched to map and study the differences in the composition, location and abundance of lunar water on the lunar surface.
